Celebrate your freedom to read at the Ross Woodward Library Media Center September 23rd-27th for Banned Books Week.
What is it? Banned Books Week is a national celebration of our freedom to read. It is a way to raise awareness of censorship in displaying and reading books that have been challenged or banned from schools and libraries around the country. As recorded since 1982 more than 11,300 books have been challenged as reported by the American Library Association.
